ViaTech has signed an agreement to hold commercial pilot testing in Sudan in collaboration with Greater Nile Petroleum Operating Company (GNPOC). In August 2017, the project will be executed for 20 days at four oil wells in the southern part of North Sudan.

ViaTech starts the development project at a Tatneft field

In the beginning of May 2017, the management of Russian oil company Tatneft made a decision to include the oil well ultrasonic treatment technology developed by ViaTech in the list of 2017 pilot development projects as one of the perspective methods of enhanced oil recovery from failing oil wells that is of a potential interest for the company in future. As the result of this decision, ViaTech is planning to start the pilot development project using the new ultrasonic technology of oil well stimulation in early June.

CUT-Service held a presentation for one of Kazakhstan’s biggest oil companies KazMunaiGas Exploration Production JSC

At the beginning of the year, CUT-Service held a presentation for the management of one of Kazakhstan’s biggest oil companies KazMunaiGas Exploration Production JSC which owns 41 oil and gas fields across Kazakhstan. During the presentation, CUT-Service showed its unique ultrasound bottom-hole zone treatment technology which aims at increasing the flow rate of oil wells.

Viatech ramps up activity in China

Viatech, which specialises in developing advanced ultrasound technologies to enhance oil recovery, held a roadshow for Chinese oil companies on 8 July 2016, in the city of Xi'an in China's Shaanxi province, in conjunction with the China Research Institute of Radiowave Propagation (CETC-22). The roadshow aims to familiarise Chinese firms with Viatech's advanced ultrasound technologies designed for use on the bottom hole formation zone to intensify oil-well production.
