AFK ‘Sistema’ aсquires RHC’s Hotels

The investment firm VIYM, which specialises in growth capital and real estate investment across the CIS and Europe, has today announced the signing of a binding contract, stipulating the sale of ‘Regional Hotel Chain’ (‘RHC’), where VIYM has played the role of development consultant, to the holding company AFK ‘Sistema’. RHC is one of the largest mid-market hotel chains in Russia, offering hospitality services from leading international brands, including: Park Inn by Radisson, Holiday Inn Express and Courtyard by Marriott. The sum of the transaction is RUB 6.6 bln, which includes banking debt, as identified on the day of the deal closure. Colliers International acted as a consultant for the deal.
