Jacopo Vecchi Fossa completed a wire to wire victory at Antognolla Golf, to become the 2019 PGA of Italy Champion. On the newly renovated Antognolla golf course, the twenty-five-year-old Fossa shot rounds of 64-65-68 for a winning score of 197, 16 under par.

Antognolla Golf is proud to announce to be the host venue to the 2019 PGA of Italy Championship by +Energia.

2019 will see the 43rd edition of the PGA of Italy Championship, which this year is supported by title sponsor +Energia and is the premier annual event for PGA of Italy Golf Professionals. The inaugural Championship was played in 1977 and previous winners have included names such as Constantino Rocca and Francesco Molinari, the current reigning Open Champion. Returning to defend his crown at Antognolla will be Luca Cianchetti, who triumphed in 2018 at Castelgandolfo Golf Club.

Antognolla moves a step closer to reality

The news that the authorities found that the project would not be subject to the formal Environmental impact assessment (EIA) was gratefully received. This communication noted that all core design and environmental aspects were in compliance with the relevant statutory frameworks. The commencement of an infrastructure component at Antognolla
